Identify and classify polynomials

1. What is a polynomial?

• It is a math sentence with one or more terms. Terms = part of math problem seperated by a + or - sign.

2. What is a monomial?

• Math Problem with only one term, no adding or subtracting.

3. What is a binomial?

• Two termed math problem.

4. What is a trinomial?

• Three termed problem.

5. How do you classify a polynomial?

• Classify it by how many terms it has.

• If there is division or square roots then it is not a polynomial.
